The idea for alo abi was born, as all the best ideas are, from a little bit of longing and a lot of love.

It all started when our family made a big move from the vibrant city of Antwerp to the charming, quieter setting of Bolderberg, Limburg. As a mom, I quickly discovered that I missed the bold, bright, and unique kids' clothing boutiques I’d left behind. I simply couldn't find the original, stylish pieces I loved to dress my two sons in. That moment of frustration sparked a clear thought: Why not create the collection myself?

Alo Abi is a labor of love, inspired by my own everyday adventures with my boys, Ferdi (3) and Nuri (9 months). We carefully curate a selection of kids' clothing that is all about celebrating style, comfort, and joy. Our pieces are designed for both the playground and those special family moments.

Where Does the Name Come From?

The name alo abi is a sweet nod to the Turkish roots in our family (my husband's heritage). We were searching for a name that felt personal and heartwarming. One morning, the answer came right from our three-year-old. When Ferdi toddled over to greet his baby brother, Nuri, he brightly said, “Hallo abi!”

"abi" means brother in Turkish. The moment he said it, it just stuck. It captured the bond between our two boys and the feeling of warmth and connection we wanted our brand to embody.
